About the application of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies and techniques to enhance and improve the educational experience. We utilise AI algorithms, machine learning, natural language processing, and other AI capabilities to provide personalised, adaptive, and interactive learning experiences for students and educators.
The AI does not need to be frightening; with appropriate, inclusive and diverse training data-sets, transparency, testing, user-centred design, and academic guidelines we can use AI for good.
We started in Spring 2023 in a barn in rural South Wales
We are academics in the UK Higher Education with more than 53 years of accumulated experience. We enjoy teaching and interacting with young people, who go to university.
We are fascinated by AI and excited by its potentials to deliver enhanced educational services whilst also recognising its limitations and potential for abuse.
With our joint expertise in education, research and software engineering we embarked on a mission to bring the power of AI for good use in education.

Dr Parisa Eslambolchilar, CEO
Parisa, an experienced software engineer, is a senior business consultant specialising in AI policy, strategy and ethics. She also has 18 years experience as a human-computer interaction researcher in the UK Higher Education sector.
Professor Tom Margrain, CSO
Tom is our chief scientific officer and eye-care expert. Having worked at Cardiff University for 25 years, he has published over 100 scientific articles and helped educate many of today’s high-street optometrists.
Ian Margrain, SDE
Ian is a computer science graduate and a software development engineer, working for one of the world leading digital transformation companies.
